----------------------------------------------------------------------------- My entry for Kilara's epic contest [link] I was originally going to title this prelude to purgatory' but... considering how hard it is to loose a loved one, I felt that title was far too calloused.. For those of you familiar with the Avians.. I feel that in this moment Nailmus would have to make a devastating decision. Do you stay with your son, in these final moments until the Amsk corruption seals your soul away.. or do you take your own life in the hopes of joining him in what lies beyond?
